Our Approach to Fees

In today’s travel landscape, thoughtful planning is only the beginning. Airline policies shift overnight, schedules change without warning, and even the most beautiful itinerary can unravel without experienced oversight.

Our professional planning fees reflect the level of care required to guide a journey from the first idea to the moment you return home. They support both the design of a deeply considered itinerary and the attentive management that happens behind the scenes while you travel.

Since 2019, clients have trusted us to manage meaningful journeys with precision, discretion, and calm expertise. Our fees simply allow us to devote the time, advocacy, and thoughtful attention required to protect what matters most on a trip: your time, your comfort, and the quiet confidence that someone capable is looking after the details.

BOOKING ONLY

Hotel Booking -complimentary

Already know the hotel calling your name? If you have your destination and dates in mind, we’re delighted to secure your reservation and extend preferred amenities through our hotel partnerships, with no planning fee.

Our relationships include many of the world’s finest five-star hotels, along with a curated selection of distinctive four-star and boutique properties.

 

Hotel Research -$250

For travelers seeking guidance, we curate up to five exceptional hotel options, each selected to reflect your destination, style, and travel priorities.


Cruise Booking -$150 per stateroom

Already dreaming of a specific sailing? We’ll arrange your reservation and layer in the preferred benefits available through our cruise partnerships.

A few helpful details:

  • Our trip design services are intended for leisure travel for up to six guests.
  • For groups of seven or more, a $900 design deposit is required to begin the research and itinerary development process. This deposit covers up to six hours of research and trip design. Certain group itineraries may also require a minimum travel investment.
  • Corporate group travel is billed at $150 per hour, with a four-hour minimum design deposit to begin planning.
  • All design deposits are due in full at the time of engagement and are non-refundable, as they reflect the dedicated time and expertise invested in crafting your journey.
  • Upon payment, you will also be asked to review and sign our Terms & Conditions Agreement.


To ensure the elevated level of service and travel experiences our clients expect, Where We Dwell Destinations focuses on reservations with our trusted partners. As such, we do not arrange the following:

  • Home rental platforms such as Airbnb or VRBO
    Hotel reservations using loyalty points, credit card points, or miles
  • Hotels below four-star level (unless previously discussed)
  • Flights booked outside our vetted suppliers in addition to using airline credits, miles, or points
